A seasoned Chemical Engineer with 30+ years of rich operational experience in Oil & Gas. He had the privilege of working with multi-national teams across the globe and has successfully handled high stake challenging projects while working with Dow Chemicals & Saudi Aramco. He has successfully led complex grassroot projects to meet schedule, budget, quality and safety compliance.
He is passionate about new emerging technologies and as a Greenpreneur is presently working with the best ttechnology partners across the globe in reducing carbon foot print and in mitigating environmental risks to local businesses to combat climate change.
He strongly believes in utilizing six sigma techniques in solving today’s burning environmental issues for feasible, sustainable solution and envisages to bring together the best brains in circular-business in closing the energy gap by adopting the scientific principles of recycle, reclaim & reuse.
Mr. B G Seetharaman
I possess a robust background in engineering and research, with experience in software development, combustion studies, and fluid dynamics. My career began with significant projects, including the development of software for steam turbine design and conducting energy balance studies on coal-water slurry combustion at BHEL. I also contributed to mathematical modeling of hypersonic flow at NAL, Bangalore, and pursued MSc research at IISc, focusing on shock propagation in two-phase mixtures.
Following my early career as a management trainee at Seshasayee Paper and Boards, I founded BG Boutique Paper Mills in 1996, where I successfully transitioned production from handmade to automated processes. I specialized in utilizing sustainable raw materials such as jute and banana fiber to manufacture a variety of specialty papers for packaging and medical diagnostics. Additionally, I have taught aspiring engineers in Physics and Mathematics for the JEE and currently serve as a co-founder at Indic Initiatives, driving educational projects.
Looking forward, my goals include developing innovative processes for producing paper from municipal solid waste, creating high-strength natural fiber alternatives to plastic packaging, and formulating domestic substitutes for specialty papers used in medical diagnostics from Agrowtap solutions private limited.Under Sumukha’s leadership, Nullwaste Industries has developed a transformative process that maximizes the value extracted from biomass, demonstrating his dedication to sustainability and environmental stewardship. His work not only enhances ecological health but also sets a new standard in resource management and waste utilization.
Mr. Sumukha K Bhat
A visionary 27-year-old mechanical engineer committed to solving social and environmental challenges through innovative engineering solutions. With a strong background in design and analysis from his experience at Bell, where he specialized in rotor components, he embodies the belief that “waste is a design flaw.” This philosophy drives his entrepreneurial endeavor, a pioneering startup focused on converting biomass waste—such as coconut shells and mango kernels—into valuable products like biochar, bio-pesticides, and bio-resins.
